Skills
Facilitation
I facilitate and guide cross-functional teams to identify problems, ideate and gain alignment. I tell stories. I surface data and research to help teams make decisions.
UX research & strategy
I conduct generative and evaluative research. I help define the problems we are trying to solve and evaluate work in progress or live products. I rally the team around research findings and make sure they inform product strategy.
Product & UX design
I design information architectures, screen flows, layouts, states and navigation systems. I provide solutions. I write functional UX copy. I learn through experiments, data and usability testing. I iterate. I evaluate my work against success metrics.
UI design
I design user interface components, layouts, screens, pattern libraries, and visuals. I consider UI states and affordances. I fall back on my foundation in graphic design to obsess over visual details when needed.

Project management
I help estimate and deliver UX work. I don’t get too hung up on buzzwords, rituals or tools. I adapt my approach based on the project, the timeline and the team.
Collaboration & design advocacy
I focus on developing relationships with other functional and business teams. Above all, I strive to speak their language and find common ground. I do it through demystifying design and learning as much as I can about what is important to other teams. This work – often slow and not easily quantifiable – is also key in keeping my team empowered and happy.
